Mobile Clinical Research Programme


The mobile Clinical Research programme is initiated with goal to provide free Unani treatment to the patients in rural areas, urban slums, schedule caste (SC) and schedule tribe (ST) areas. Besides, the aim is to reduce the disease liability in the society by creating health awareness among them. The Researchers of our Institute make door-todoor surveys in these areas mainly to register Research cases of different ailments. Research cases of Nephrolethiasis, Hypertension, URTI, UTI, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Vitiligo and Bronchial Asthma were referred to the Institute for further evaluation. The Researchers also provide free Unani medical treatment to ailing people at their doorsteps and thus serve as a potential source of healthcare delivery to the masses. Besides, awareness is also created on preventive, promotive and curative health aspects through group lectures, organizing special health camps and health exhibitions. Under this programme more than 3 lakh patients were provided free treatment since inception.
