Dr. Zaffar Hussain did his Bachelors Degree in Unani System of Medicine in the year 2003 from Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur and Masters Degree (M.D Moalajat) from National Institute of Unani Medicine, Bangalore, Karnataka (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore) in the year 2014. He has academic experience of more than 14 years from Institute of Asian Medical Sciences Zakura, Srinagar. He joined RRIUM Srinagar in January 2020. Presently he has been working as Professor in the department of Moalajat and is teaching Clinical Methods to the first year and Moalajat Paper II to the second and final year batches respectively. He is working as Chairman of Pharmacy Committee and Prescription Audit Committee framed by RRIUM, Srinagar. Besides working as Member of Board of Post Graduate studies in Unani Medicine, University of Kashmir, Srinagar. He is supervising five Post graduate scholars as Guide in their respective clinical trials. His area of interest is Diabetes mellitus and Diabetic neuropathy. He is diligent and passionate about his work.
