Dr Asgar Nazir did his BUMS in 2019 from University of Kashmir and MD Moalajat from National Institute of Unani Medicine, Bangalore, Karnataka (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore) in the year 2024. His topic of research in MD was “Efficacy of Arjun Ch āl (Terminalia arjuna) as an adjunct in Essential Hypertension: A Randomized controlled study”. He has worked in the Institute of Asian Medical Sciences, Zakura as lecturer in the department of Moalajat from Ist May 2024 to 17 January 2025. Then on 18th of January he joined Post Graduate section of Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine, Srinagar as Assistant professor in the Department of Moalajat. Presently he has been working as Assistant Professor in the department of Moalajat and is teaching Clinical Methods to the first year and Moalajat Paper Ⅳ to the second and final year batches respectively.
