Session I
Dr. Arshid Iqbal Wani, Medical Officer, ISM Department J&K, delivered an insightful lecture on Introduction to Hijama (Cupping Therapy), highlighting its types, indications, and standard operating procedures. Dr. Sheikh Mohammad, Associate Professor, Ilaj bil Tadbir, Govt. Unani Medical College, Ganderbal, presented a comprehensive talk on Hammam (Steam Bath/Sauna Bath), covering its historical significance, modern applications, and patient benefits. He also elaborated on the applied aspect of Hammam-i-Bukhari in Amrad-i-Maddi.
The lecture was complemented by a live demonstration of Hammam Therapy, emphasizing safety and therapeutic outcomes.
