Day 5 | SIX-DAY CME PROGRAMME FOR THE TEACHERS OF ILAJ BIL TADBIR - 08th-13th September 2025 at RRIUM Srinagar

Day Five (12 September 2025) of the Six-Day Continuing Medical Education (CME) Programme for Teachers of Ilaj bil Tadbir at RRIUM, Srinagar, featured two enriching technical sessions alongside practical demonstrations.





Session I
Dr. Arshid Iqbal Wani, Medical Officer, ISM Department J&K, delivered an insightful lecture on Introduction to Hijama (Cupping Therapy), highlighting its types, indications, and standard operating procedures. He also emphasized the role of Ilaj bil Tadbir (regimenal therapy) in chronic pain management and its mechanisms of action.
The session was followed by a hands-on demonstration of Inkibab Therapy, with a special focus on safety and efficacy.

Session II
Dr. Sheikh Mohammad, Associate Professor, Ilaj bil Tadbir, Govt. Unani Medical College, Ganderbal, presented a comprehensive talk on Hammam (Steam Bath/Sauna Bath), covering its historical significance, modern applications, and patient benefits. He also elaborated on the applied aspect of Hammam-i-Bukhari in Amrad-i-Maddi.
The lecture was complemented by a live demonstration of Hammam Therapy, emphasizing safety and therapeutic outcomes.

The day concluded with vibrant academic exchanges and practical skill-building sessions, reaffirming the significance of Ilaj bil Tadbir in contemporary clinical practice
