Dr Towseef Amin rafeeqi did his MSc Biochemistry (Gold Medallist) in 2004 from University of Kashmir and PhD from ICAR-NDRI Haryana in 2010. He has research experience from NCBS (TIFR) Bangalore, SKUAST-Kashmir and SKIMS Srinagar J&K. He joined Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine in July 2012 at CRIUM (Presently NRIUMSD) Hyderabad as Research Officer (Biochemistry) cum Scientist-I and was transferred to RRIUM Srinagar in November 2015. Presently he is In-charge of Laboratories section (Biochemistry lab, Pathology lab, Radiology section) of RRIUM Srinagar and is teaching Clinical Biochemistry & Genetics to MD scholars of Unani Medicine (Moalajat). He is involved in various clinical research projects and Co-supervises MD students of Unani Medicine (Moalajat) & Unani Pharmacology (Ilmuadviya). His interests of research are: Biomarkers in clinical studies and Biological activity of drugs from Unani system of medicine. He is passionate about mentoring and is open for any potential research collaborations of his interest.
