Brief Biography
Dr. Asgar Nazir completed his BUMS in 2019 from the University of Kashmir and MD (Moalajat) from the National Institute of Unani Medicine, Bangalore (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) in 2024.
His MD research topic was “Efficacy of Arjun Chāl (Terminalia arjuna) as an adjunct in Essential Hypertension: A Randomized Controlled Study.”
He served as Lecturer in the Department of Moalajat at the Institute of Asian Medical Sciences, Zakura from 1st May 2024 to 17th January 2025. On 18th January 2025, he joined the Post-Graduate Section of Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine, Srinagar as Assistant Professor.
Presently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Moalajat, teaching Clinical Methods to first-year students and Moalajat Paper-IV to second and final-year batches.
