Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Srinagar, celebrated World Bicycle Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and staff members of the institute. The programme was organized with the objective of promoting physical fitness, environmental sustainability, and awareness regarding the importance of cycling as a healthy lifestyle practice.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, postgraduate scholars, and staff who actively joined the bicycle rally and awareness activities conducted on the occasion. The programme was organized under the supervision of Dr. Suheena Khanday, Research Officer (Unani), Dr. Rameesa, Research Officer (Unani), Dr. Aamir Yousuf, Lecturer, Ilmul Advia, and Dr. Asgar Nazir, Lecturer, Moalajat.
During the event, participants highlighted the importance of cycling in maintaining physical and mental well-being, reducing environmental pollution, and encouraging eco-friendly modes of transportation. The programme also emphasized the significance of adopting healthy lifestyle practices for prevention of lifestyle-related disorders.
