One-Days program on "Innovations in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants as Potential Business Venture "

Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Directorate of Extension of SKUAST-K who is having MoU with CCRUM, New Delhi conducted a one day programme at RRIUM, Srinagar on 9th December, 2023 under their 7 Days Advanced Management Development Programme (Sponsored by Ministry of MSME, GoI) on "Innovations in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants as Potential Business Venture ".



The organising Secretary/coordinator of the programme, Dr. Rafiya Munshi along with other coordinators, Dr. Dipender of CIMAP and registered participants visited RRIUM, Srinagar  where R. O incharge,  Dr. Irfat Ara received the guests in the Avicenna Auditorium of the institute. The programme started with the lectures of Dr Afsahul Kalam, R. O (Unani) and Dr. Tariq Ahmad Butt, R. O (Botany).  After lectures the guests and the participants visited different labs and Museum of the institute. Dr. M. Younis, R. O (Chemistry) and Dr. Urooj, R. O (Pharma) briefed the participants on research work being done in phytochemistry and preclinical labs. Dr. Anees, R. A (Botany) briefed participants on crude drug collections in Museum of the institute.
