Mobile Health Camp under the Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) | Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Srinagar

The Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Srinagar, organized a Mobile Health Camp under the Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) at Sumbal Bala village in District Ganderbal, Jammu & Kashmir, with the objective of improving healthcare access and spreading awareness among the local population.



During the camp, Dr. Sumera Mehfooz, Research Associate (Unani), sensitized the community about Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and emphasized the importance of avoiding the use of medicines without proper medical prescription. Postgraduate scholars actively participated in the programme by distributing informative pamphlets and further educating the public about the risks associated with the irrational use of antibiotics.
In addition, compound Unani medicines were distributed among the beneficiaries.
