The programme was conducted with the objective of creating awareness about tuberculosis (TB), its modes of transmission, signs and symptoms, preventive measures, and the importance of early diagnosis and complete treatment for effective disease control and elimination. 

1.During the outreach activity, Dr. Sumera Mehfooz, Research Associate (U), sensitized the tribal population about various aspects of tuberculosis and emphasized the need for timely medical consultation, adherence to prescribed treatment, and community participation in TB prevention and elimination efforts. She also highlighted the significance of maintaining proper hygiene, adequate nutrition, and awareness to reduce the burden of the disease.
2. As a second activity under the campaign, an awareness session was conducted at the Institute for OPD patients by PG Scholars Dr. Hassan and Dr. Hasan. The scholars educated patients about the national goal of TB elimination, encouraged individuals with persistent cough and related symptoms to undergo screening, and stressed the importance of completing the full course of treatment to prevent drug resistance. The programme witnessed active participation from beneficiaries and served as an effective platform for disseminating essential information regarding tuberculosis and promoting public health awareness.
