National Plastic Pollution Reduction Campaign World Environment Day 2025
An awareness event in continuation of "World Environment Day" with the theme "Ending Plastic Pollution Globally", a National Plastic Pollution reduction Campaign, an awareness program was held at RRIUM Srinagar on 13th June 2025.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Hakim Mohd Afsahul Kalam (Principal), The event saw enthusiastic participation from PG scholars and pharmacy staff.
Talks and displays highlighted the harmful effects of plastic and the benefits of eco-friendly alternatives. As part of the initiative, in RRIUM, dispensary Unani drugs were distributed in paper bags to the patients, setting an example of sustainable practice.
The event ended with a pledge to reduce plastic use and adopt greener alternatives.
