A Mobile Health Camp was conducted under the TSP on 20 July 2026 by the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine, Srinagar, at Thune village, District Ganderbal, J & K.

The primary objective of the camp was to create awareness among the local tribal population about the principles and benefits of Unani medicine. The camp aimed to bridge this gap by providing accessible medical care and educating the community about the importance of preventive and promotive healthcare through the Unani system of medicine.
During the camp, Dr Sumera Mehfooz, Research Associate (Unani), examined and treated the patients, provided health education on the benefits of Unani medicine, and addressed their health-related concerns. Compound Unani medicines were distributed to the beneficiaries according to their medical needs. The programme received a positive response from the local community and contributed to improving awareness and access to Unani healthcare services in the tribal area.
