World Environment Day 2025 | Plantation Drive | RRIUM Srinagar

As a prelude to World Environment Day 2025, a Plantation Drive was organized by CCRUM – Regional Research Unani Medicine, Srinagar on 30 May 2025 (Friday) within institute premises. The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and Ending Plastic Pollution Globally among students and staff.



Two saplings namely Ginkgo biloba and Iris ensata planted by Dr. Irfat Ara (Deputy Director) and Dr. Arseed Iqbal (RO Unani) during this drive.

Dr. Irfat Ara, highlighting the importance of plantation drive in combating climate change and conserving biodiversity. Students, and other office employees were actively participated in this event.
