During the programme, Dr. Sumera Mehfooz, Research Associate (Unani), educated the people about the causes, symptoms, transmission, and preventive strategies of TB. She emphasized the importance of early diagnosis, proper hygiene, balanced nutrition, and regular adherence to treatment for effective prevention and control of the disease. The programme also highlighted the need to avoid self-medication and encouraged people to seek timely medical consultation in case of symptoms related to TB. The awareness session witnessed active participation from the tribal community and served as an important initiative towards supporting the vision of a TB-free India.
