The programme commenced with a pledge-taking ceremony aimed at promoting awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption and encouraging a tobacco-free lifestyle. The pledge was administered by Dr. Arsheed Iqbal, who urged all participants to remain committed to spreading awareness regarding the adverse health consequences of tobacco use and to actively contribute towards tobacco control initiatives.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Research Officers, Faculty Members, Technical and Administrative Staff, Postgraduate Scholars, and other employees of the Institute, who collectively reaffirmed their commitment to supporting tobacco-free environments and promoting public health.
