The camp provided free health consultations, screenings, and Unani medicines to elderly members of the tribal community. Over 155 people participated in the event. Dr. Sumera Mehfooz, Research Associate (U), delivered an informative lecture on healthy aging, preventive care, and Unani approaches for improving quality of life. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation, with several cases referred for specialized care. Despite logistical challenges, the event successfully promoted healthcare awareness among the tribal elderly, aligning with RRIUM Srinagar’s mission to support underprivileged communities.
