100 days campaign for Tuberculosis (TB) elimination Programme

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major infectious disease worldwide, even though it is both preventable and curable. To accelerate its elimination, the Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare launched the 100 Days Campaign for TB Elimination on 7th December 2024. This initiative aims to raise awareness, promote early diagnosis, and ensure treatment adherence through an extensive and strategic approach.

As part of this nationwide effort, the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Srinagar, has been conducting a series of awareness programs from 7th December 2024 to 24th March 2025, supporting the broader mission to eradicate TB.

"Let's unite for a #TBFREE world! Tuberculosis is preventable, treatable, and curable. Early detection and proper treatment save lives. Get tested, stay informed, and spread awareness! #EndTB #TBMuktBharat"

Unani medicine supports TB treatment by strengthening immunity and improving lung health. Let’s combine ancient wisdom with modern care! #UnaniForTB #HolisticHealing
